The Staff at Cross Hayes Pre School are supported by an enthusiastic committee made up of parents and carers. Core members of the committee are required to deal with staffing issues, financial decisions, policies and procedures and issues affecting our premises. General committee members can take on as little or as much responsibility as they like. We always need new fundraising ideas and people to help run our popular Pre School fundraising events. There is no pressure to take on a formal role - what we all share is an interest in and a desire to support the work of the Pre School.
All new members are very welcome!
A Note From the Chairperson:
My name is Rachel Copeland. I have lived in Malmesbury since 2001 and I have 4 children: Emma who attended Cross Hayes from 2009-2011 and is now enjoying Primary School; Kitty who started at Cross Hayes in 2011; Victoria, who already has her name down to start in 2013 and Cameron who will be ready to start in 2015. I work full time as a Project Manager but really enjoy contributing to the running and organising of the Pre School. I am proud to be part of such a professionally run community organisation and feel passionately about supporting Mandy and her team in the great work they do to take the Pre School from strength to strength. I took on the role as Chairperson in September 2011. We have a strong committee and are well supported but we could always welcome more help and ideas. Committee meetings are relaxed and friendly and we appreciate new faces bringing new viewpoints. The more volunteers we have, the more fundraising activities we will be able to undertake and all of the funds that are raised go straight back into the Pre School, in turn providing better facilities and activities for all of our children.
