Lunch - this is optional from 12.45p. - 1.15pm Cost - £1.75 (please bring a packed lunch)
Sweatshirts - although aprons are provided for some of the messier activities it is advisable to send your child to pre school in suitable clothes. Pre school T-shirts and sweatshirts are available in children's sizes for £6.00 and £8.00 respectively, an optional extra if your child wants to wear one!
Each day on arrival - please help your child to self register as this helps them to recognise their name. Self registration is next to the stage and your child will find their name on a apple which they can place on the tree. Also, to encourage your child's independence, please support them to find their coat peg where they can hang up their coat and bag.
Please feel free to call or email to make an appointment to look around or ask further questions - we look forward to meeting you!
Government funding - from the term after their third birthday children are entitled to 15 hours a week of funding through the govenment. (The Pre School claims this money from the Government on behalf of each qualifying child). This can be used to cover sessions and lunch sessions as you wish. If your child attends the preschool for more than 15 hours a week there will be a charge of £3.50 an hour. We open for 3.5 hours a session, plus 0.5 hours for lunch (optional). This allows us to provide extra quality pre school learning time for the children in our care. Cross Hayes is a charity and no profit is made, so our rent, staffing and insurance costs must all be met by the government grant and termly fees.
Childcare Vouchers - we accept childcare vouchers against fee costs from a variety of voucher providers. Many employers run schemes that provide vouchers to their staff free of tax and national insurance. This can potentially save an employee over £1000 a year.
*Please note that children should be potty trained.
